More powerful features come into various apps with each passing time in the world of tech and Facebook’s owned apps are no exception, even massively. The company, Facebook, has made progress in developing new useful features (though some are stolen ideas from other services) for its social apps particularly WhatsApp.

Now, a new update rolled up for iOS users allows Facebook and Instagram videos to be played in WhatsApp without the need to leave the app’s current interface. With this new feature, when someone you’re chatting with in WhatsApp sends you a video link from either Facebook or Instagram, you won’t need to leave the app to watch them. What is more interesting is the fact that you can keep watching the video even as you move between other chats.

As mentioned earlier, this new feature (that enables users to watch Instagram and Facebook videos within WhatsApp) is currently rolling out to iOS users. And maybe within the next few days, weeks or a month, the same feature may be released for the Android platform as well as the Windows platform.
