Yes, the reporting industries, the social media and all the folks in the internet space are driving the the internet crazy and nobody cares. You are also pretending not to see the signs of madness.

Well, you may choose to argue, or at least, try to criticize my comments but before then take some few seconds to read my full story. I’ve been reading online since 2007, that’s about 11 years from now, counting back; the seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks and the months as well. If you think that’s insignificant, question yourself when Ghana started to see the Cyber lights.

In those early ages I enjoyed searching the internet for relevant information; for personal studies, working out assignments, knowledge base, and some quality international news. Should I forget how I loved to connect with good friends on Facebook? No, I loved those moments!

Sharing was fun, browsing quality pictures, reading through quality moments crafted with status updates. Back then, our timelines were full of great things, yea quality posts. Back then, Facebook was young, energetic, quality focused, trying to transcend international borders to reach its proud user base now.

It was not brainwashed with ‘big business’ ideas, or at least if it was, then we didn’t know but it was cool. Now, the platform is over a billion users and over a fourth of the total number is full of fake accounts coupled with false business representations, profile impersonations, just to call but few. And Twitter? Yea, you know it.

What about Information presented on the Internet? What about the modern News trends on the Web? What happened to Facts presentation? What’s really going wrong in internet reporting? Read that in a coming article!
